To add a cover, you can browse a JPEG image file on your PC. After adding cover, you can add its description, and choose its type as Cover (back/front), Media, Lyricist, Composer, Illustration, Recording Location, etc.

The option highlighted in red provides a feature to search for cover images online using album and artist name. But during my testing, the option wasn’t working properly.

Apart from cover art, many more music metadata tags can be edited using it. These tags include ID3v1 Tags and ID3v2 Strings. You can also add or remove a metadata tag as per your choice.

It supports formats including MP3, WAV, AAC, FLAC, WMA, etc.

Although TagsRevisited provides many good features to edit cover art and other metadata information, its interface is rather tacky. Other than that, it is a good album art changer as well as audio metadata editor software.

IDTE-ID3 Tag Editor

IDTE-ID3 Tag Editor is yet another album cover changer software for Windows. It is basically a music tag editor, using which you can change album cover of a music track. It lets you edit tags in a side panel of its interface. There, you will find various tag fields along with Cover, like title, album, artist, year, genre, etc.

On right clicking on the Cover area, you will get several options for cover customization including Add Album art, Show Album Art, Set Cover Type, Extract Album Art, Fetch Album Art, Copy Album Art, Paste Album Art, and Remove Album Art. You can add an album art in formats of JPEG and PNG. In case it is not able to find one, it simply returns no result.

Album Art Downloader is another one of album art changer software for Windows. Add music tracks using its File Browser option. After that, you can select many audio tracks to find cover images for and click on Get Artwork Selection. This option downloads cover arts using song information, and displays covers for selected tracks in different windows. It also displays source from where covers are fetched. Now, you can choose a particular cover and keep it as front, back, inside, or CD cover.

You can also save a cover in formats of JPEG, JPE, JFIF, and EXIF. It also provides Art Preview option. It doesn’t provide an option to select cover image from your PC.

Album Art Downloader supports only MP3 audio format. It has an easy to use user interface and is an ideal choice for finding a suitable cover for music tracks.

Meka MP3 Album Artwork Tool

Meka MP3 Album Artwork Tool is an easy to use album art changer software for PC users. It supports only MP3 music files to change their covers. Use Load MP3 option to browse for desired tracks. It lets you add multiple MP3 tracks at once and change their cover images simultaneously. You can then add an image in JPG format as cover images of added tracks and Apply changes. That’s about it. It is one of the simplest album cover changer software.

Note: Although it says that it supports PNG and BMP image formats, but it only accepted JPG image as cover art during testing. Also, it is advised to use cover image in 300×300 pixel resolution.
