Here is a list of best free invitation maker software for Windows. Through these software, you can design invitation cards for various occasions like Birthday, Baby Shower, Wedding, etc. These software come with various occasion specific templates which makes designing of invitation cards really easy. You can add invitation message (text) and photos to the template to personalize the invitation. Some other modifications like text font, text size, photo resize, etc. can also be made through these invitation designers. In some software, you also get editing section through which you can create an invitation card from the scratch. Creating invitation from scratch definitely takes a lot of time, so I recommend using templates for the invitation designing.

Free Card Maker

Free Card Maker is a free invitation maker software for Windows. Using it, you can create Wedding Invitations, Birthday Invitations, Bridal Shower Invitations, Christmas Party Invitations, etc. For each type of invitation, there are two different templates which you can use to design the invitation. Plus, with this software, you can easily modify background color, font color, etc. along with font style to customize the invitation.

In order to create invitations, first, you need to select the type of invitations from Invitation type menu. According to the invitation type, this software will provide you two template types in its Templates section. Select one of the templates and choose a color scheme for the card using Colors section. Just like color, you can also select a text font from styles menu. After all the design modifications, you can modify the existing template text with the invitation message and save invitation as BMP, GIF, JPG, PNG, TIF, and PNG format by pressing the Save button.

Overall, it is one of my favorite invitation maker software because it contains really good templates for multiple occasions.

Badge Studio is another free invitation maker software for Windows. Through this software, you can create inauguration invitation cards, wedding cards, birthday cards, etc. In this, you can create invitation cards either by using predefined templates or by creating the whole invitation from the scratch. Templates definitely make the task easier, but this software lacks invitation specific templates. Still, some templates are good enough to create an invitation card.

To create an invitation using templates, first, select the Template option just after launching this software. Now, select Template type menu and choose All Card templates option to view all templates. In it, a total of 9 templates are available. Select one of the templates and press OK to launch the Editor section. In this section, you get various editing tools (Text, Line, Selector, etc.) and menus (background and clipart) to modify the invitation card as you like. Here, you also get a Portrait and Horizontal modes to change the orientation of the card. After completion, you can save invitation card as .card, .cardtemplates, .cardmodels, and also as PDF using its Print option.

To create the invitation card from the scratch, you need to select the Badge Creation option instead of Templates. This option opens up a blank editor window which is exactly similar to Template editor window. Now, build the invitation card by using various available tools and sections and then save the invitation as PDF or as Badge Studio project formats (.card, .cardtemplates, etc.).

Overall, it is a very simple and easy to use software to make invitations.

Invitation Maker RSVP Maker is free invitation maker app for Windows 10. This app helps you make wedding invitation cards, birthday cards, inauguration invitation cards, etc.

In this software, you get various predefined Template sections (Birthday, Bokeh, Chevron, Hipster, etc.) using which, you can quickly create invitation cards. All of the available template sections further has a lot of templates to choose from. Select one template form available ones and set Aspect ratio (1:1, 4:3, 3:2, etc.) and Orientation (vertical or horizontal) of the template. After doing that, an Editor section will open up where you can add text (invitation message), filters, effects, photos, etc. on the template. Plus, some additional editing tools like brightness, contrast, saturation, blur, etc. are also available to further enhance the invitation card. After completion, you can save the invitation card as JPEG image format.

This app also has a disadvantage that some ads cover the top part of the editing section that makes editing slightly tricky.

In this software, you can create invitations of various types like Christmas invitations, Birthday invitations, Baby shower invitations, etc. It contains multiple templates for different occasions using which you can create a personalized invitation card. Apart from templates, photos of various formats (BMP, JPG, PNG, TIFF, etc.) can also be used as a template.

To use this software, first, select a template according to the occasion from Select Template menu. Now, add invitation text and photos to the template using respective tools. Its text tool also contains various fonts, colors, and font size features to modify text style. Every object over template (mainly text and photos) can be moved to any part of the template by using the mouse. After completion, save the invitation card as JPG, BMP, or as PNG image.
