X-Mouse Button Control is a free software to customize mouse buttons for Windows. It provides dozens of customization options for mouse buttons. Using this mouse customizer, you can customize 3 buttons (common PC mouse) or even a five buttons mouse.

You can customize mouse buttons’ actions for all windows or particular applications, as it suits you. To add an Application Profile for customization of mouse buttons, simply click on Add button (shown in full screenshot) and browse EXE file of respective application. Now, you can customize actions of mouse buttons for that particular application.

Now, let’s talk about the actual “mouse button customization” options:

• You can disable any of the buttons of your PC’s mouse.

For example, if I want to assign Delete command to extra button 1, I will simply press Delete key in the respective field. That’s it. It doesn’t provide options to customize general mouse with three buttons.
