Additionally, it lets you modify the input OBJ model as you get a lot of design tools and options. NuGraf is yet another OBJ to DXF converter software for Windows. It lets you convert one or multiple OBJ models to DXF and other file formats including DWG, STL, PLY, SLDASM, IGES, DWF, 3DS, STP, etc. In case you want to view and analyze imported OBJ model before conversion, you can use its import and export functions.
How to convert one or more OBJ to DXF in NuGraf:
- Firstly, open its Batch Convert tool from the File menu.
- Now, add one or multiple source OBJ files to this software that you want to convert.
- Next, select output format as DXF R12 and configure output parameters including output polygon, separate polygon into separate layers, output enables (polygons, 3D point set, polylines, etc.), line terminator type, etc.
- Finally, set output location and then hit the Convert Files! option to batch convert OBJ to DXF.
Limitation:
This free version of NuGraf doesn’t convert every 5th polygon of each object in output.
Conclusion:
It is a decent batch OBJ to DXF converter to convert a set of OBJ models to DXF and various other 2D and 3D file formats. But, I would recommend you check its free version limitation before using it for the conversion.
