SurveyMonkey is a free online voting website which lets you create surveys for online voting. The basic (free) version of this software comes with a limitation of 10 questions per survey. However, you can carry out unlimited surveys in the free version. It also has a limit of participants. On each survey, up to 100 people can vote.

Start from scratch by giving a suitable title to your online voting survey and selecting the category under which the survey falls. I don’t know the actual limit of adding choices, but I added up to 23 choices for a question. You can allow voters to tick more than one answers. When you are done, publish it on the internet. This will generate a link, share this link with voters and let them participate in online polling.

For quizzes and forms, there is a maximum limit of 20 questions per voting. All the questions are to be added on one page only, you are not allowed to create more than one page in the free plan. In these sections, you can add a variety of questions, like Multiple Choice (Single Select), Multiple Choice (Multi Select), Star Rating, Drop Down List, Order, Ranking, Slider, Comments Box, Text Box, etc. After completion, you can share quizzes or forms via email or embed it into your website. It also has an option of link generation by which you can share the quizzes or forms on different platforms.

It also has a preview mode, which you can use to preview your created online voting survey before posting it.

While adding a voter, you have to provide a unique ID and password for each voter. Voters will take part in online voting by entering their respective voter ID and password.

It features only two types of questions to be asked in online voting: Multiple Choice Questions and Ranked Choice Questions. For the former one, you can set the maximum and minimum limit for voters to mark options i.e. you can choose more than one options for a question within specified limit. Moreover, if you want to explain your question, you can do the same by adding more information to that question (maximum limit of characters is 5000). It also provides you a feature to browse images in each question.

For each survey, you can set its start and end time.

This free voting website has many advanced features, like Ballot Receipt, Vote Confirmation Message, etc.
