(here, M4Afile.m4a is the input file and out.mp3 will be the name of converted MP3 file.) - This command will convert M4A file in MP3 format with default settings.
- To convert in MP3 format with desired bit rate, use this command line:
ffmpeg -i M4afile.m4a -ab 320K -map_metadata 0 -id3v2_version 3 MP3filename.mp3
(In above command, -ab lets you set bit rate for converted MP3 file, -map_metadata helps to map metadata in the converted file, and you can set id3v2 tag also.)
The converted file will be stored in the same folder where FFmpeg is installed.
