I prefer MEGA as an alternative to Google Drive. I personally use MEGA to backup my files and media. I use MEGA because it offers up to 50 GB of storage space with Zero-Knowledge Encryption. You can make the folders collaborative and use the built-in communication tools to connect with others. There are downsides to MEGA too.
